Privacy Policy (English)

This policy explains how Al-Mahatta collects, uses, and protects your data. By using the app you agree to it.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: your phone number (via a verification code), or your name and email if you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Listing content: what you enter when posting a listing (title, description, contact numbers, photos, location).
• Location: approximate or precise location, only when you use the map or set a listing's location. We do not track location in the background.
• Photos: images you pick or capture to attach to a listing.
• Device & notification data: a push token and basic technical info to deliver notifications and run the app reliably.

2. How we use it

• To create your account and verify your identity.
• To publish your listing and connect users with businesses.
• To show places on the map and improve search results.
• To send service-related notifications.

We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. Third-party services

• Google Firebase — authentication and push notifications.
• Sign in with Apple — secure sign-in on iOS.
• Google Maps — displaying locations.

We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

4. Account & data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app: Menu → Delete account, or by emailing aldanacomputer1@gmail.com.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
